During his debut season in 2012, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) secured the services of Narine for INR 3.5 crore, thus commencing his exclusive journey in the IPL. Across 172 matches, Narine showcased his prowess, clinching 176 wickets with an outstandingly low economy rate of 6.2. Moreover, he left a mark with the bat for KKR, accumulating 1426 runs over 106 innings at a staggering strike rate of 165. Furthermore, he proved his versatility by claiming 11 wickets in 10 matches, further underlining his importance to the team.
