In a surprising twist, Warner backed Kohli’s potential participation in the 2031 edition, citing the former Indian skipper’s exceptional fitness and deep love for the game.

In a tweet, Warner stated, “No reason why he can’t, he is very fit and loves the game so much,” expressing confidence in Kohli’s ability to continue representing India in World Cup tournaments beyond 2027.
