The much-anticipated Lanka Premier League (LPL) 2023 kicked off in a grand fashion on Sunday (July 30), with Jaffna Kings (JK) defeating Colombo Strikers (CS) in the opening game. The second match of the fourth edition of LPL will now witness Galle Titans (GT) take Dambulla Aura (DA) at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Monday (July 31).
It is worth mentioning that the two teams have strong and star-studded squads comprising a few popular players. GT will be led by talented Dasun Shanaka in the LPL 2023, while wicketkeeper-batter Kusal Mendis will be the captain of the DB.
