Broad had also talked about the six maximums incident during the press conference after Day 3’s play on Saturday and revealed that Yuvraj’s assault had toughened him as a cricketer, igniting the fire within him to come back stronger and achieve greatness on the field.

Broad achieved numerous milestones and accolades throughout his illustrious career that cemented his place as one of the modern-day legends of the game. Notably, he retires as the fifth highest wicket-taker in Test cricket, having scalped over 600 wickets.
