Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed that New Zealand tour to Pakistan has been brought forward by a day. The first Test of the two-match series will now kickstart on December 26 in Karachi and the second game is scheduled to be held in Multan from January 3, 2023.

The Black Caps had to play an ODI and T20I series in Pakistan last year but returned home without featuring in a single game due to an unknown security threat to them.

However, this year will be a bonanza for Pakistan as New Zealand will also tour the country to play 5 ODIs and as many T20Is in April 2023. Pakistan Cricket has already hosted Australia, while England, after featuring in a seven-match T20I series in October, are currently playing a three-match Test series against Babar Azam and his men.

The second leg of New Zealand’s tour of Pakistan will be played from April 13 to May 7.
