Winning the toss, Rajasthan elected to bowl first, putting the Super Giants into bat. They posted a competitive total of 196/5 in their allotted 20 overs. Captain KL Rahul led the charge with a scintillating knock of 76 runs off 48 deliveries, supported by Deepak Hooda‘s aggressive 50 off 31 balls. The Royals’ bowlers put up a disciplined effort, with Sandeep Sharma and Avesh Khan picking up crucial wickets.

Sanju Samson, Dhruv Jurel take Rajasthan home

The Royals showcased a powerful batting display in their chase, reaching the target with 7 wickets in hand and 6 balls to spare. Sanju Samson was the star of the innings, smashing 71 runs off just 33 deliveries, including 7 fours and 4 sixes. He was well-supported by Jos Buttler (34 off 18) and Dhruv Jurel (52 off 34) in a formidable batting performance. In the bowling department, the Super Giants struggled to contain the Royals’ batters, with only Marcus Stoinis managing to pick up a wicket for the Giants.
