Pakistan’s bowlers stole the show early on, restricting India to a paltry 119 in their 20 overs. Jasprit Bumrah was the hero for India, delivering a match-winning spell of 4 wickets for just 13 runs in his four overs. Hardik Pandya also played a crucial role with two wickets.

Pakistan currently have 0 points after two matches, putting their qualification chances in jeopardy. The team, led by Babar, must win their remaining matches against Canada and Ireland while hoping that neither the United States of America (USA) nor Canada win any more games.
Even if Pakistan wins both matches and the USA loses their remaining two games, advancement to the Super 8 stage will depend on Net Run Rate (NRR). If both teams get tied at 4 points after 4 matches, Pakistan will need several favourable outcomes to proceed.
