In a thrilling contest, Pakistan fell short in their chase of 120 runs, ending their innings at 113/7 in the allotted 20 overs. The Indian bowlers delivered a disciplined performance to secure a narrow victory. Mohammad Rizwan was the standout performer for Pakistan, scoring a determined 31 runs. Despite his efforts, Pakistan’s batting line-up faltered under pressure, unable to build the necessary partnerships to reach the target.
Jasprit Bumrah was instrumental in India’s victory, taking 3 crucial wickets for just 14 runs. His precise and lethal bowling in the death overs turned the tide in India’s favor, ensuring they maintained control over the match. Hardik Pandya also played a pivotal role, claiming 2 wickets for 24 runs. His contributions with the ball were crucial in containing Pakistan’s batting and keeping the required run rate in check.
